The hand starts with a pure sequence

A sequence uses consecutive cards of the same suit. A pure sequence contains no joker substituting for a missing rank. Most 13-card rules require at least one pure sequence and another sequence before the remaining cards can be grouped into valid sets or sequences.

Draw, discard and reduce deadwood

Each turn usually begins with a draw from the closed or open pile and ends with a discard. The decision is not only which card improves the hand; it is also which discard reveals the least useful information. Keep the pure sequence intact unless the replacement plan is clear.

Unmatched high-value cards can increase points if another player declares. A timely drop may therefore be less costly than holding a scattered hand, but the first-drop and middle-drop values must be checked in the chosen table.

Points, pool and deals tables

Love Rummy mentions multiple tournament choices without promising that every format is always open. Points rummy usually settles each hand quickly, pool rummy continues until a player reaches an elimination threshold, and deals rummy runs for a fixed number of deals. Entry, scoring and exit rules should be read before joining.

Account and location checks
